Why I Travel

I love to travel!! I love the memories, the experiences, and the connections that travel creates… things that you just can’t get anywhere else. Travel gives us the opportunity to explore new places, connect with others, and sometimes even learn a little more about ourselves along the way.

That love of travel is what led me to become a part-time travel agent. I wanted to be able to book my own travel while also helping my friends and family plan trips and create memories of their own. It’s something I genuinely enjoy, and I love being able to share that passion with the people in my life.

Because I have a full-time job, I’m not always immediately available like a full-time travel agent. My travel business is something I do part-time, primarily during evenings and weekends. I may not always be able to respond right away, but when I’m working with you, I’m committed to handling the details of your trip with care and making the planning process as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

As an independent travel agent with Shimmering Shores Travel, I especially enjoy booking cruises to Hawaii and Alaska. I can be as involved in the planning process as you would like me to be… whether you want help with all the details or need assistance getting your trip booked. Let me know your preferences, and we’ll go from there!
